The breakfast was hot with a lovely fresh fruit salad provided and toast, for instance, and the staff were amicable.

We had delicious, absolutely superb breakfast with toast and locally sourced food, as example.

The stuff is excellent, as well as host. The location is amazing and fantastic, close enough to York's centre, main tourist area and a lovely river walk nearby.

The location is magnificent and near to town centre, and main tourist area of York. Besides, we greatly enjoyed the lake, located within 15 mins walk of the hotel. Overall excellant food, plus there is The Plough Inn close by. 

Overall it was nicely furnished and brand-new for the tea. I was offered a hot breakfast with locally sourced food. Everyone was very very helpful as well as host.

The room was huge and neat with safe for my safety. The stuff were pretty friendly and excellant, their services were friendly.

What an excellent location to local supermarkets! Based close enough to communal areas, a taxi to get back and the city centre and the designer outlet which stopped virtually outside.

Recently renovated and impeccably clean property with very good service and good value.
